![]() Overall, the service and food were subpar compared to Toronto and Victoria. There was a small knob that I had to adjust. I had to figure out why the heater was too hot and found out that it was set to maximum. However, my 7-year-old daughter accidentally burned her left leg while peeing. We initially thought it was normal because it was a newly renovated room. The heater in the washroom was extremely hot. ![]() We tried Chromecast again, but it did not work. ![]() The concierge advised us to wait a day and gave me a temporary Wi-Fi password. We were told it was a newly renovated room, but the Wi-Fi and Chromecast were not working. When we went upstairs, the keys were not working, and we had to wait until maintenance sent new keys. I finally received a text message at 4:03 pm saying the room was ready. I arrived around 2 pm and was informed that the room wasn't ready yet. There were about 200 people attending this convention. I was told that they didn't have any more rooms available, but after asking to see what they could do, the staff told me I would have to pay an extra $50. Upon arrival, we requested two queen beds but got a king instead. Although there is currently some construction happening, the view remains amazing. My family stayed in a lakefront room with a beautiful view. The view in front of Lake Louise is always breathtaking. Last year, we stayed at the Fairmont Toronto, and the year before that, we were at the Fairmont Empress in Victoria. We attended our annual convention with our company. I wish to have a call with someone form the hotel to share feedback. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and none form my family or professional circle to visit because of the lack of hospitality and weird service. Ideally I should be asking a refund as it was a very unpleasant stay with subtle discrimination I booked the hotel for my wife’s birthday weekend and the Overall experience felt like a long day with tons of follow ups and figuring it out all by my self’ No help was given even after me quoting to the concierge. I still didn’t create my account for gold membership as the website didn’t allow it. Not a great stay felt like I had too many follow ups to be done by my self. There must be proper handholding of front desk and concierge I had to scramble downstairs only see the driver hold my name card. I booked a car to get dropped to Calgary when checking out, driver details wasn’t shared to me in advance. It was delivered after we moved in to the room ![]() I asked for the birthday cake to be in my room when. May be the other group was out of Alberta and we were from Calgary or may be we didn’t look like them There was another group checking in gold when we arrived and there was another concierge while checking them in gave so much details on things to do etc which was really greatīut the one who checked us in gave a piece of paper to scan to know more on the to do in the hotel which was quiet weird and not a pleasant check in experience I wasn’t assisted to carry my luggage when I checked in nor was the checking process pleasant. Please find a better option to record guest usage of pantryįood Options in gold pantry was less compared to Banff While having breakfast n snack staff asking which room number we were felt rude n interrupting our chat My credit card screwed up so I had to pay debit right when i checked in, I had no concierge help through text which made it difficult to wait for calls and someone to answer I didn’t get as great of a help compared to Banff springs which I stayed 4 months ago Great location, not worth the price for gold members You never know who you might see on a stroll around the lake.
